A Vermont Hunt Gone Bad
A hunt in which two friends had a bear in sight ends tragically.
Conrad Masse of Craftsbury, VT has been charged with
Aggravated Assault for shooting his friend Wayne Goff.
Masse and Goff were using bear hounds as they were pushing a
bear across Urie Road. Goff just so happened to be on the wrong side of the
bear as Masse unloaded three shots as one struck Goff.
Detectives from the Vermont State Police as well as game
wardens have recently concluded a lengthy investigation in which Masse has been
charged with aggravated assault as well as some other hunting violations.
Conrad Masses will take stand in Orleans Superior Court on
Febuary 28, 2014 to answer his charge.
